We need a strong, healthy and enthusiastic crew to support this years Olympiad.
The following teams are on the scout for new participants, so if you think you have what it takes to compete, then please contact work@insiderfestival.com for an application form and return it by the 1st June 2012.
Team (de)Hydration
All you sports enthusiasts out there will know how important it is to keep hydrated during a race/match. That’s why Team (de)Hydration need a responsible yet friendly and lively bunch to run the Insider Bars, and look after the health of our Spectators & Athletes*.
Bar Staff: Must be over 18. Previous experience is not required, but preferred.
Team Nutrition
Our athletes and crew will be using up a lot of energy over the course of the weekend, so Team Nutrition will be providing them with healthy balanced meals to keep their energy levels up.
Crew Kitchen Staff: Must be competent in the kitchen, preferably with catering experience.
Team Sniper
You don’t actually get a sniper rifle, but with a sprawling Olympiad Village, it’s vital that our spectators and athletes know where to go when they arrive, throughout the weekend and that they feel safe and protected at all times. Team Sniper will be on hand to guide them in the right direction, so that nobody misses their favourite sport*.
Car Parking Steward: Previous experience is not required, but preferred. An assertive manner and logical mind will come in handy.

Team Bodybuilder
Our athletes shouldn’t be left to carry their equipment, and our bars will need replenished throughout the day. That’s why we need a bunch of burly chaps to help transport stock and equipment around the site. If you’re not burly, but have a quad and aren’t afraid to use it, we also want to hear from you.
Team Ballboy
Ok, so you won’t really be collecting balls. But we do need a team who are willing to get up early and collect empty glasses and litter, and generally make the Olympiad Village look like it was just built that day.
Team Umpire
Throughout the weekend, there will be a series of Olympiad Sports taking place. We need a Team to coordinate these events, and to make sure that the strict rules of play are not breached.
Team Aftermath
Members of this team will be allowed to let their hair down over the course of the weekend, as long as they are willing to stay onsite post-Olympiad and assist with the aftermath clear up.
Availability
It’s important to us that our Team members are clued up about the Insider and singing from the same sporting hymn sheet, so we would like our volunteers to be on site no later than lunchtime on Thursday 14th June, for training, Olympiad Village acclimatisation and team bonding at the crew BBQ.
*Please note, the Insider Olympiad is in fact a music festival. All references to ‘athletes’ should be taken to mean ‘musicians’, and for ‘sport’ read ‘band’.
